We apply the same logistics infrastructure, export documentation expertise, and client communication systems to deliver trusted Kyoto Uji matcha to businesses worldwide.
Why We Started Our Matcha Wholesale Business
KyoUji was born from a parent company with deep experience in international B2B wholesale, based in Osaka. In the trading card industry, we built and maintained logistics operations that enable "same-day completion" with buyers worldwide.
We are now applying those operations to a new product category: premium Kyoto Uji matcha. While overseas demand for Uji matcha continues to grow and domestic menus increasingly use it as a differentiation ingredient, frontline menu managers have told us repeatedly: "We can't find a small-lot Kyoto supplier" and "Quality certificates are hard to obtain."

Our Background
KyoUji was established in October 2024 in Osaka. While a young company, our parent organization is an international B2B wholesale operations company also based in Osaka.
In the trading card industry, we've been completing transactions with buyers worldwide entirely online. HS code export documentation, international payments, tracking, and English-language buyer communications — the team that handles these as everyday operations now runs KyoUji directly.
KyoUji is not a company figuring out logistics from scratch. The export systems, documentation, and customer communication workflows were already in place — matcha is simply the new product we've applied them to.
